Referees will be on the field for all games; coaches will remain on the sidelines. Other USYS Modified Rules will apply.
When registration numbers allow, we will have gender-specific, single-year age groups.
We provide coaches with a curriculum of age-appropriate training games designed to challenge the players to focus on their individual technique and decision-making.
Volunteer-parent coaches are needed to help lead the players through the training sessions during the week and manage small-sided games on Saturdays. All efforts will be made to avoid conflicts with busy schedules. Indicate any hardship days when you are unable to practice when registering your child. Practices can be held weekdays (except Friday) beginning at 6:00 PM on the front lawn of CAT-Pickering Technical College High School.
No scores will be recorded and no standings will be kept. The goal of our intramural soccer program is to provide a safe, fun, and competitive environment for kids to enjoy soccer and being with their friends without the pressure of playing for a result.
All volunteer coaches will attend a mandatory Coaches' Meeting where the program, practice materials, and game-day protocol will be reviewed.
Volunteer parent coaches are vital to the success of this program. All that coaching requires is a positive attitude and a desire to have fun with kids. If you are interested in helping with a team, please check the indicator box when registering your child. You may also contact Rob Ruch, Intramural Coodinator, with any questions about your responsibilities or the program. It is designed to be as enjoyable for you the parent as it is for the player.
The Intramural program is the recreational division of PASC. Seasons run every Spring and Fall.
PASC divides our recreational division into an Intramural Program for our U7-U10 players and the Suburban Division for our U11-U19 players.
