EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Ryan Gottier began his professional career as a Health/PE Teacher, Athletic Director, and Varsity Girls Soccer Head Coach (37-11 cumulative record) at Calvary Christian Academy located in Western Maryland (2010-2013).
A move to the Midwest saw Gottier become the Assistant Men's Soccer Coach (42-26-9 cumulative record) and Sports Complex Director at Hannibal-LaGrange University (2013-2017). In addition, Gottier became involved at Quincy United Soccer Club starting as a staff coach (2013-2014), stepping into the Director of Coaching Role (2014-2016), and eventually being moved into the Executive Director position (2016-2018). During this time, Gottier also completed a Master's in Athletic Administration from Ohio University.
In 2018, the Gottier family returned to PA leading to roles as the DOC at Chester Springs United (2018) and as a staff coach at Penn Fusion Soccer Academy (2019). From 2019-2022, Gottier served as a Sport Management Professor at the University of Valley Forge. He has continued as an Adjunct Sport Management Professor at Lancaster Bible College since 2022.
Ryan Gottier was hired to be the Director of Coaching at Phoenixville Area Soccer Club in February, 2020. Since that time, he has completed his USSF "A Youth" Coaching License (2023) as well as a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Columbia International University (2023). In January 2024, Gottier began working with Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer as a Grassroots Coach Educator. Gottier was promoted into the role of Executive Director at PASC in 2024.
Ryan Gottier remains passionate about using the platforms of teaching and coaching to impact the next generation. He resides in Phoenixville with his amazing wife and three children.
TECHNICAL DIRECTOR
Andres Hurtado brings over 20 years of playing and coaching experience at the youth and collegiate levels. Originally from Cali, Colombia, Andres began his soccer journey playing youth soccer in his home country before moving to West Chester, Pennsylvania. There, he played for West Chester United and West Chester East High School before continuing his playing career at Wilmington University, an NCAA Division II program.
Andres began coaching in 2005 with Delaware United and later served as Director of Coaching and Urban League Director at Kirkwood Soccer Club from 2008–2015. He went on to lead FC Delco’s Boys ECNL program from 2016-2021 before becoming Boys Director of Coaching at Oklahoma Celtic. In 2023, he guided the Oklahoma Celtic 2008 Boys to the club’s first-ever ECNL Regional League National Championship.
In addition to his youth coaching, Andres has coached at the collegiate level for over a decade. His experience includes head coaching at Delaware Technical & Community College and assistant men’s soccer coach at Wilmington University and Goldie Beacom College, helping Wilmington university to two appearances in the NCAA division II national tournament and Goldie Beacom to one NCAA Division II national tournament appearance.
In March 2025, Andres was hired as the Technical Director at Phoenixville Area Soccer Club, where he currently helps lead the club’s philosophy and player development working in all components of club programming.
Andres resides in East Fallowfield with his wife, Karoll, and their three children.
ZONE 1 DIRECTOR
Trevor Adams began his coaching career as a volunteer while attending Pennsylvania State University. Upon completing his degree he was hired as the Media Coordinator and staff coach for Future Captain Sports. During this time, Trevor was a trainer for a number of local clubs and a contributing writer for EPYSA’s Touchline Magazine.
It was in the course of his time with Future Captain Sports that Trevor made a connection with Phoenixville Area Soccer Club. In the summer of 2014, he was hired by Andre Calilhanna as PASC’s first professional staff coach.
Throughout Trevor’s time at Phoenixville Area Soccer Club, he has also held positions as a coach for Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer’s Olympic Development Program and as an Assistant Coach for the boys programs at his Alma Mater, Strath Haven High School (2011-14), Phoenixville Area High School (2014-15) and Bayard Rustin High School (2016-2022). Trevor is currently the Head Coach of the girls soccer program at Phoenixville Area High School.
In 2020, Trevor was hired as the Zone 1 Director by Phoenixville Area Soccer Club. Since then he has completed his USSF “C License”.
Trevor resides in Phoenixville with his wife, Kate, 2 dogs and 4 cats. He is passionate about his involvement in the success and continuing growth of both the young athletes and surrounding soccer community in Phoenixville.
