PASC College Recruitment Director & Head Coach
Phoenixville Area Soccer Club is proud to announce the hiring of Ptah Myers as the club’s new College Recruitment Director. In this role, Myers will lead the club’s college recruitment and player development initiatives while also serving as the head coach for two competitive teams.
Myers brings over 15 years of collegiate coaching experience, along with an extensive background in youth development, and national-level scouting, to PASC. Currently, Myers serves as an Assistant Coach for Drexel University Men’s Soccer (NCAA Division I) and is also a U.S. Soccer Talent Scout, identifying and evaluating top talent across the region.
At the youth level, Myers has held key leadership and roles, including Director of Coaching at YTP, as well as coaching positions within MLS NEXT Academy and ECNL teams. Before transitioning into coaching, Myers had a 13-year professional playing career and represented the USA Futsal National Team. Myers holds an MBA from Jefferson University and earned his undergraduate degree while playing at the University of Massachusetts. He also holds the U.S. Soccer Federation “A” License along with U.S. Soccer Futsal Certification.
As College Director at PASC, Myers will oversee the club’s college recruitment support program, providing guidance and education to players and families navigating the college soccer pathway. His responsibilities will include organizing club-wide college recruiting seminars, helping players through the recruitment process, and connecting PASC athletes with college opportunities.
“This is a great hire by our club to bring in a high-level coach who is respected around the soccer community,” said Technical Director, Andres Hurtado. “I’ve had the pleasure of working with Ptah in the youth club setting, and I know the great value he will add. He understands the college landscape and will push our players while also helping our technical staff continue to move the club to the next level.”
Phoenixville Area Soccer Club is excited to welcome Myers to the club and looks forward to the impact his experience, leadership, and passion for player development will bring to the PASC community.
PASC Goalkeeper Coach
Phoenixville Area Soccer Club is excited to announce the hiring of Mike Kalpokus as Goalkeeper Coach.
Coach Mike graduated from the YSC Academy/Philadelphia Union Academy where he trained and competed from age U14 through graduation in 2017. After his youth career, Mikey continued playing collegiately at Immaculata University, competing at the NCAA Division III level.
Mike began coaching goalkeepers in 2016 at YSC Sports followed by Steel United, where he spent four years developing goalkeepers across multiple age groups. He later continued his coaching career with Penn Fusion Soccer Academy, working with goalkeepers from 2021 through 2025.
Coach Mike holds the United Soccer Coaches Goalkeeping Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 certifications.
“We are excited to have Mike join our staff as he is a driven young coach with great enthusiasm and high energy who will look to push our goalkeepers to a high standard,” said Andres Hurtado, Technical Director at Phoenixville Area Soccer Club.
The addition of Mike Kalpokas to the coaching staff at PASC will help elevate the development and consistency with which the club's goalkeepers receive position-specific instruction. Coach Mike will work with existing goalkeeper coach, Josue Bosque, during Friday sessions while also providing additional integration during team training sessions in April and May.
