It is with sincere gratitude that we announce, after dedicating more than a decade to the growth and development of PASC and our young soccer players, Andre Calilhanna has made the decision to retire from official PASC duties.  The time has come for him to dedicate his time and energy to other passions in his life.         

Like so many parents, Andre began volunteering at PASC by coaching his own children in our recreational and travel programs.  However, Andre took his volunteerism to the next level by committing three years as a volunteer board member and another four as the president of the board.  Under Andre’s support and direction as president of the board, PASC ushered in the ‘Professional Coach Model’ for the travel program and oversaw an expansion and evolution of the recreational soccer program.  As we look back, this work established the PASC organization you know today, and set the club up for long term success. 

As PASC continued to grow, Andre recommitted his leadership and served the past four years as the Executive Director of the club.  The role was new to PASC and proved to be ever changing, but Andre’s dedication was never wavering.  His knowledge of the club, procedures, and operations has proven to be invaluable.  His personal integrity was the sounding board to help keep us focused on providing the right experience for our players. 

It has been a pleasure working with Andre as the board navigated both the good times, and more recently, uniquely challenging times.  Andre’s support of the PASC organization, the members, and more importantly the children and community we serve, is unmatched.  He will truly be missed. 

We congratulate Andre on this milestone and wish him the very best in his future endeavors.
